Brand Strategy & Creative Direction

Here’s what we built together before The Green Bean ever poured its first cup:

Juliana had a big-picture vision: a mobile coffee concept that served comfort and community, not just lattes. She wanted it to feel like a breath of fresh air in the local community—warm, grounded, and human. She also wanted it to look legit and be built right from the beginning.

We partnered before the business ever went public to create a full identity and website that would help her show up professionally, clearly, and confidently with zero guesswork on launch day.

Meet the Founder, Juliana

The Green Bean is a Wilmington-based mobile coffee cart with a strong mission and a clear vision, they came to me before launching to build a brand and website that felt aligned from day one and would work hard behind the scenes to attract the right audience.

A cozy, intentional space centered around connection, mental wellness, and really good coffee.

Crafted to balance boldness with approachability, helping them stand out while staying grounded in their values.

The color palette

Organic imperfections and hand-drawn lines reflect the founders’ real, human, approachable vibe. Herbs and Leaves connect back to their plant-based focus and holistic offerings.

brand marks and icons

Represents bridging wholeness, mirroring their mission to offer more than just drinks but peace, grounding, and care.

The break in the bean

Shaped like a coffee bean but also resembles a thumbprint, a nod to individuality and personal connection.

the logo icon

The Green Bean isn’t just trendy, it’s intentional. From the color palette to the logo shape, every detail was rooted in the mission to bridging the gap between brokenness and wholeness.

The Strategy Behind The Green Bean's Brand

"As a brand new business owner, I had no idea how many teeny tiny details were involved in the set up of each google account, workspace, calendar creation, domain settings, SEO, and more. I simply would not have survived the startup phase if it weren't for Lee's expertise in these areas and my business would not have gotten the start it needed without her perfecting the behind-the-scenes details for me. In addition to creating a brand identity that nailed every single part of the vision I had in my head for my business, she was kind and patient with every one of my questions, requests, and ideas. She made it possible for me to focus on the parts of my business that I love and feel confident in. Lee is an invaluable addition to your small business needs and you'll thank yourself later for using her."

With the new brand identity, creating branded materials like menus, business cards, and event signage became quick, easy, and even fun. No second-guessing fonts or scrambling through Canva at the last minute. With everything already mapped out in the identity, Juliana could stay focused on the good stuff: dreaming up secret menu items, perfecting new recipes, and building real community. The brand worked with her so she could spend her energy where it actually matters, doing the things that inspired her to start the business.

The Green Bean booked multiple private events before ever posting on social media or officially announcing the business.

Their website began attracting leads before they even launched and continues to bring in consistent, organic inquiries from local customers.

With SEO-optimized structure and intentional content, they’ve been found on Google by dream clients without any paid ads or lead-gen work.

Launching their socials felt easy and aligned because the brand already had personality, voice, and visuals baked in.

So what are the results since The Green Bean's brand and website design wrapped up?
